Zoom Client Update
An updated version of Zoom Client was released on December 7. If you need Zoom Client (the app) or are unsure how to check if you have the latest version please check out this short screencast. Zoom Client is not able to be downloaded onto a Chromebook.
With the new update, co-hosts will now have the same breakout room privileges as a host, meaning that a co-host can now launch breakout rooms and easily enter and leave a breakout room. For this feature to work, it is important that both the host and the co-host have the most recent update of Zoom (Version 5.4.6). Co-hosts on Chromebooks will likely not have these breakout room privileges available.
The Zoom Client update will now also allow hosts and co-hosts to move participants from a breakout room back to the main meeting room. This can be easily done from the breakout room list and clicking "Move to" next to the student that you would like to return to the main meeting room.
