Educate: GiftED Presentation: Adaptive Giftedness and the Power of the Mind
Is your child’s magical power an atypical mind? This is great, but it comes with its own set of issues and fears. Connection with self, peers, parents, and community can create a type of giftedness called “adaptive giftedness.” Adaptive giftedness allows high cognitive ability to truly be a gift, rather than simply a challenge.
Interested? Come join us for a presentation loaded with practical tips and research-based ideas exploring the need that gifted children have to follow E.M. Forster’s advice: “Only Connect.”
