Get Your Homemade Holiday Pies - Support TPCA Bands
You love pies. Not the little ones at the grocery that look sort of homemade but taste, well, preserved. Not the frozen ones on sale at Kroger or even the pretty good ones at Costco. No, you love the deep pies with lots of fresh filling - the perfect balance of sweet and tart with a flaky buttery crust. With some ice cream, of course. Drooling yet?
Guess what? Right now our TPCS Band program is taking orders for wonderful, farm-made, frozen pies made by Skillington Farms in Lebanon, IN for a great price! Stan & Laura Skillington (Leah in 11th and Natalie in 9th) are part of our TPCS family. Their goal is to raise much-needed funds for musical instruments and equipment. Each homemade pie is only $15 and worth every penny! Available varieties are: apple, blueberry, cherry, pecan, pumpkin, and sugar cream.
Place your order before November 9th with cash/checks made to TPCA. How do you order? Find one of our band students, download the order form from RenWeb Resources or stop by the front office to pick up a form. Pies will be delivered to the school for student pickup on November 20th so they can be distributed to customers in time for Thanksgiving. These delicious pies will be perfect for your holiday dinners.
Get an extra one for those upcoming cold, dark January nights when your tummy needs some warming up!
Remember to Join us for NEXT STEP on October 27th
Remember...this is your best chance to talk with the teachers your child will have NEXT year, or in two years, or high school. If you have a child in 8th grade or Pre-K this year, NEXT STEP also serves as your personal info event to learn about High School and Kindergarten at Traders Point. We are offering the same great information in each half-hour session, so join us when your winter parent sports meeting is done, or dinner is finished, or whenever, at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 or 8:00 pm. Bring your students in grade 3 and up to check it out, too.
For more information contact admissions@tpcs.org.

Check out Travis and his message at Mojoup.com. There are great, short videos there. Who is Mr. Mojo? Travis Brown grew up in Lafayette, Indiana, was a three-sport varsity athlete in high school, and went on to play college football following graduation.
After a decade in business, Travis turned his attention to focus on providing success and leadership tools for students across the country. It is through these leadership skills that he encourages students to “Mojo Up” and take a stand against bullying.
As a top motivational speaker, Travis acquired the name “Mr. Mojo” for his high energy, intense content and captivating speaking style. He has delivered over 1,600 hours of motivational presentations to companies and youth nationwide and has impacted the lives of nearly 1 Million students, pro athletes and sport teams in the United States and abroad.
Currently, Travis is recognized as America’s Anti-Bullying Coach for his tireless work to fight the social epidemic of bullying and change the lives of today’s youth. The Mojo Up Anti–Bullying Tour (www.MojoUp.com) has created a unique way for Travis to connect with students with his life-changing anti-bullying message: You Make A Difference! The driving forces to change the culture are the concepts of the Leaders Taking a Stand Against Bullying program.
Many thanks to a generous TPCS family who is sponsoring Mr. Mojo's visit with us.
