Area Board of Education Meeting

We invite you to attend the Board of Education meeting on Thursday, April 2nd. This is an opportunity to hear the 'State of Gwinnett Education' from Mr. Wilbanks and our Board members, as well as the community. Mulberry's Honors Chorus, along with Dacula ES and Alcova's students will provide the inspiration. A reception with the Board begins at 6:30 and the meeting follows at 7pm. Come join us.

Georgia Milestone Schedule

The following days Mulberry's 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be taking the GA Milestones Assessment: Monday, April 20th, Tuesday, April 21st, Thursday, April 23rd, Monday, April 27th and Wednesday, April 29th. Please do not make any plans to be out on those days. We need everyone at school to help! Thank you.

Gallup Q-12 Follow Up

Gwinnett County Public Schools is once again partnering with the Gallup Organization to conduct the Q12 Engagement survey for our teachers and school leaders. The ongoing goal of this partnership is to help you identify areas of strength and growth within your school. The Q12 survey, consisting of 12 questions plus 2 specific for GCPS, will be launched directly to your staff beginning March 16, 2015.

This three-minute survey is taken online via a secure website maintained by Gallup. Gallup collects all the responses, aggregates the data, and compiles a series of reports for GCPS overall and for our schools.

Bully Prevention Week

Mulberry's Bully Prevention week is March 23-27. The theme for Bully Prevention week is "My Future is Bright, No Bullies in Sight". Students will receive instruction on the importance of maintaining healthy friendships throughout the week. On Friday, March 27th, students can wear a bright color to school to celebrate sunny, safe friendships and bright futures!

Field Day T-Shirts

If you are interested in purchasing a shirt, I have attached an order form to this email.

You may complete that and get it to me by next Wednesday. There is a picture of the logo on the form.

  • To Angela and the front office staff for juggling to make sure that all classrooms had subs and all grade levels had the opportunity to visit White Oak.
  • To Mona for all her work and sweet demeanor over the past four months. Mona's last day with us is on Friday.
