Sales Tip!

Use look a like retargeting! It's like first party data without implementing a DMP.

Our satisfaction rating has dipped a little, down to 95%, with the separation of the LVRJ.

Lots of new orders are coming in from our new partnership with the Colorado Springs Gazette and bring with them a sense of invigoration and rejuvenation.

New version of the buy sheet has been uploaded to webads that removed options/products for the Review-Journal. This version of the buy sheet can be used for AdUs Affiliates, AdUs Direct Markets, as well as the former Stephens Media properties. Columbus should continue to use the current buy sheet that they have hosted on the sales drive.

Publisher Support Tip

Use the bulk edit feature when you need to make the same change across multiple lines.

Select the lines you want to update, make the change & save.

It is most helpful when fixing the date or time or the cpm.

Ex: end date or freq cap

Reporting Tip

Since the reporting tool doesn't currently have Dstillery data in it, it is important to pull your stats from the Dstillery platform and add them to the rest of your campaign stats. As a reminder, the reporting tool does not auto-populate the new stats into the graphs that accompany our reports, so you'll need to copy and paste the stats that you get from the reporting tool and put them into a custom reporting tool, as well as those from your Dstillery campaigns.

Ads in image searches

Google is now showing ads in Google Images with a focus on retail, saying mobile shopping searches have gone up 30 percent in the past year.

Ads in Google Maps

Local ads being features in Google Maps. Users will be able to tell the difference between a promoted location and an organic location by the color of the pin on the map and the word "ad" in the text at the bottom of the screen.

More text space

Google is also increasing the amount of copy on text ads across both desktop and mobile. The expanded text ads in AdWords will allow marketers to have more ad space to display information about products and services before a user clicks.

Dying on the Vine?

Markerly studied 9,725 Vine users with more than 15,000 followers and found that 52 percent had exited the video platform for the likes of YouTube and Snapchat this year.

Food for thought

When it comes to U.S. folks aged 25-34, 60 percent research new restaurants on their smartphone, according to RetailMeNot.
