CMSD Vision for Learning in a Post Pandemic World
In our pursuit of a more fair, just and good system of education, it is CMSD’s vision that each of our learners, both each of our scholars and each of their educators, is individually and collectively presented with academically/intellectually complex tasks that are worthy of their productive struggle and allows them authentic opportunities to demonstrate their work and their learning of academic content and transferable skills in a joyful and adventurous environment.

School Mission Statement
The School of One is dedicated to producing successful graduates by offering students a differentiated, individualized digital on-line educational experience embedded with both the academic and social/emotional services needed to be college and career-ready in the 21st century.
School Goals
- Increase graduation rate by 4%.
- Increase attendance by 1.5% and decrease at-risk absenteeism by 5%.
- Increase the percentage of students proficient in math by 3%.
- Increase the percentage of students proficient in reading by 3%.
- Increase Performance Index by 3%.
- Increase students’ transition after high school to college or trade by 3%.
- Increase parent and family engagement by 3%.

Tests are currently taking place at our school sites. Please reach out to the site teacher to ensure that your child takes advantage of this testing opportunity.

ARTS IMPACT is making a difference!
During the second semester of this 2021-22 school year, Arts Impact have returned and began to provide social and emotional based activities in the classroom. AI have reestablished a presence within our school community as we work to strengthen the relationships with our families to promote parent engagement activities and staff professional development strategies, while supporting academic achievement for students.
There will be evening family based workshop opportunities held this month and May. Please see the details below and also check-out the highlights from featured projects done over the past weeks.
