LPS Elementary Weekly Newsletter
September 10, 2021
Early Release at 12:15pm on Sept. 15th
JEANS DAY on 9/17
We don't have our class shirts, so they will just wear a uniform shirt this time or any LPS spirit shirt
We are ordering class shirts this week!
When we have a jeans day, that means:
- Students can wear any denim bottoms in good repair (shorts, pants, skirt with modesty shorts, skort, capris). No holes or rips.
- They can be any color.
- Everything else stays in uniform code: shoes, socks, etc.
- Usually this is paired with their class shirt, but as stated above, this one will just be a uniform shirt or any LPS spirit shirt.

Coming Soon! Fundraising for TeamConnor & Pink/Green Out Day
The giving window will be Monday the 27th - Friday October 1st, so watch for how to give to your child's grade level as we set goals for each grade.
Then to show our support, on Friday the 1st, we have a Pink and/or Green Out day. (Pink is a traditional color for breast cancer support and green is the color for TeamConnor). Students will get to wear as much pink and/or green as possible that day to school in person or online. They can wear socks, shoes, pants, shirts, glasses, wigs, etc. The only rule for elementary is no hair coloring or face paint (this rule applies to any special dress day; we save those privileges for the older kids so they have something to look forward to.)
Keep Your Information Up to Date
If you can't update something in the system, just email it to our registrar Mrs. Lara-Palmer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Chaperone Background Checks
We are working closely with our PTO for how you can assist the teacher throughout the day and week. More information to come.
We’re seeing a lot of input from elementary parents sharing photos with yearbook! It is so encouraging and I want to remind you all that Secondary students put together the yearbook, so it’s often a struggle to include grades K-8. Our goal is to include a third of the student population in the yearbook this year, which can happen with your help!
Share Photos with Yearbook
Anyone can submit pictures by going to the website: https://images.jostens.com/416225448
· If prompted for a user ID it is 416225448
You can also EMAIL the students directly or share your google drive photos with email@example.com
Include your Staff Photo
Have your photo taken by the Legacy photographer on your campus’ picture day. If we don’t get a staff photo, we can’t include you in the book.

Leave a Legacy at LPS
Leadership Prep School is sponsoring a brick campaign to provide on-going support for the purchase of equipment, supplies, and other resources that contribute to the excellence of the computer-immersion and project-based learning programs for LPS students.
By purchasing a brick, you have the opportunity to have your child's name or family name engraved on a brick that will be installed in front of the Secondary Campus building.
COST OF EACH BRICK: $75 includes 16 characters per line for up to three lines of engraving.
The order form for personalized bricks can be accessed on MySchoolBucks.com by clicking on “School Store” then “Browse All items” then “Personalized Brick”.
