MPS Professional Day
Jefferson, Washington, William Gay Early Childhood Centers
Moving Ahead and Finishing Strong!
On Monday, January 4th, McAlester Public School’s faculty will participate in district-wide, site based professional learning. At each level--Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary, teacher teams and leaders will be in collaboration to share best practices, analyze assessment data, focus on rigorous instruction, celebrate student successes and focus on shoring up the gaps so that our students will finish the year strong. With this goal in mind, our sites have created agendas that fit the needs of teachers in each grade level/subject area.
We are looking forward to this day in our district. January is a perfect time for refocusing our efforts and for refining our practices related to teaching and learning. Here's to a holiday that brings you much happiness. May the peace and joy of Christmas be with you today and throughout the new year. Looking forward to seeing you when we return from break.
Be merry!
