Kirk Fenton News
18th October 2019
Dear Parents / Carers,
What a busy week! Willow and Birch have visited Church and were very respectful and thankful to Rev Simon for his time. Year 5s have been on their residential to Bewerley Park and have come back full of stories and memories. We're very proud of our Year 6 footballers who represented our school and won their tournament.
Birch parents took a trip down memory lane and brought in toys they used to play with. The children enjoyed comparing their toys to toys from the past.
We have focused on Respect in worship this week and have talked about treating others how we want to be treated.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Exciting news! Christmas Fair 6th December
We have a date for the Christmas Fair, so please put Friday 6th December in your diary - it will be straight after school (details to follow nearer the time). Do give us your contact details if you'd be happy to help in any way, we then send out lists of tasks for people to choose from.
We need witnesses...
Even if you don't intend to stand for this year's committee, we are asking for plenty of people to attend our AGM after parents' evening on Wednesday 23rd October at 6.30pm, as the rules of our charity ask for 14 non-committee members to be present as witnesses... can you help us out by attending?
Also, if you're wondering what being on the committee entails, please get in touch. Getting involved is rewarding, looks great on your CV and helps provide extra events and facilities to benefit the children. There's also lots of support from the volunteer network and as much guidance as you need from previous committee members. If you'd like to find out more beforehand, please email us or leave a note at the school office for Michelle Seguss.
