Wolfpack Howler
Volume 17 Issue 9
Division of Elections Youth Ambassador Program
The students received the same training as standard election workers and it covered topics such as, processing voters, issuing ballots, why and how to issue a questioned or special needs ballot, operations on the optical scan ballot reader, and even the touch screen which allows for low vision, blind, deaf, or mobility reduced voters to independently vote.
On Tuesday November 6, after school ends these students will be assigned a precinct to work at. The Division of Elections welcomes them to the team and hopes to see them again very soon.
