2013-2014 School Year
World History Honors and Advanced Placement European History- Mary Elizabeth Kinard
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend our Open House next Tuesday night. I am the current Teacher of the Year for Fort Mill High School and I must attend the Fort Mill School Board meeting that night. Due to this, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about my World History Honors class or AP European History.
We have a lot to learn!
This year will be focused on European History, from 1450 to the present. Our first semester will cover basic information and be more project-based, while second semester will be more in-depth and rigorous. The first major project that you will see your child working on is based on an important person from history and the next will be a group video project on an important event.
AP Euro Exam: Wednesday, May 14th
We use Chromebook laptops in class, so very few materials are required. Students do not need a notebook, but will need many (~500) flashcards for second semester.
