PTO News
The 2018-2019 Willbern PTO is currently accepting new members. Reminder-membership is renewed each school year. Your child’s teacher should have already sent home PTO membership forms. We will be sending them out over the next few months. It’s one of many ways to support the great things the PTO does for our students and school.
PTO raises funds so that we can send students on field trips, have class parties, help with the 5th grade party, assemblies, rodeo day and much more. Without the support of the PTO none of this would happen.
We plan to have our 1st PTO meeting in early October, so be watching for that date. Here are a couple of easy ways to support your PTO. It’s free money!
1. Collect and turn in box tops. The 1st submission will be in November. We will continue collecting throughout the year. (Please don’t turn in expired box tops, they do not accept them) There will be another submission in the spring.
2. Kroger Rewards
Kroger’s Community Rewards Program is an easy way to make financial donations to Willbern. Once you set it up, Kroger will donate a portion of each purchase to Willbern Elementary. It’s that easy. This will not take away from your rewards.
To register, you must have a Kroger Rewards Plus card and be registered online. If you are not registered online, you must first go through the registration process.
Go to www.kroger.com
1. Click “Create an Account”
2. Follow instructions from there if you are already registered online, follow these instructions:
1. sign in at www.kroger.com
2. Click on My Account and choose Account Settings
3. In the Community Rewards box choose “edit”
4. Enter Organization number:82113 or type “Willbern” to search.
5. Choose “Willbern Elementary” and click save.
** Note: Kroger card MUST be reactivated each year**

Watch Dog Dads Pizza Night
Our upcoming Watch DOG kick-off event will be Tuesday, Oct. 2nd from 6:00-7:00 pm. We are inviting all students to bring their dads for a night of Pizza and Watch DOGs sign-up. Watch DOGS is a special activity which allows dads the opportunity to get involved in the safety of our students at Willbern. Dads get to be a ROCK star on our campus and even get to eat lunch with their child! We will be sending a RSVP form later in the month. The RSVP will allow us to order plenty of pizza for our dads & kids! Parents please note: This event is open to all students and they are welcome to bring a grandfather, uncle, or other significant man in their life.
