The Giver

Book Summary
The giver is mostly about a community that is controlled by the elders. A boy name Jonas is chosen by the elders to be the next receiver of memory, until he realizes the community is doing things wrong. The giver can transmit memories to Jonas. Soon he must save his community from something call 'The Release'. The faith of the community is in his hands.
Main Character
Fiona is a really important character because she has red hair and she one of Jonas good friends. When Jonas gets the memory of love, he realizes that he loves Fiona ,which led to them kissing. Fiona risk everything when she gave Gabriel to Jonas.
The Giver
This is the giver. He transmits memories to Jonas and he also helps him find the memory line.
Asher
Asher has is Jonas best friend. At first, Asher was confused with Jonas behavior, but he realized what Jonas was telling him was the true
Chief Elder
The Chief Elder helps keep order in the community. When Jonas cross the memory line she felt feelings and true happiness

Overall Rating
What i like about the Giver was that, when the memories went to the community everyone felt some type of feeling. What i dislike about the Giver was that everyone was in family units and that their lives were controlled by a group of people.
