Welcome to the Weekly Update!
-Starting this spring the athletic department will begin to utilize an online registration system for athletic tryouts. There are several benefits to making this change. The first is that it will bring accountability to the tryout process by having every athlete have to register in order tryout. The next might be the most important, and that is it allows us to make sure that we have the most accurate information on file for your child. This includes phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, etc. Finally, it will minimize the amount of paper used by going digital. Attached below are the step by step directions on how to register your child. Your child must be registered a minimum of 5 days prior to the start of tryouts. Next year, you will be able to register for all three seasons at the beginning of the year. If you have any questions, please contact the coach of the sport you are trying out for your Mr. Forgas in the athletics office. Registration instructions are in the PDF form below.
-MPCS has partnered with Sprint’s 1Million Project (http://www.1millionproject.org/) to offer free hotspots to high school students without internet access. All students need to do is to get a permission slip signed, saying that they don’t have internet access at home and return it to Mr. Konig. They will receive 3GB/month of high-speed internet service for their ENTIRE HS career!!!
