Title: Intermediate Excel for Visual Representation and Data Analysis CCSS

Descriptor: Learn to use some of the more advanced features and functions in Excel in this hands-on workshop. With CCSS, students are expected to interpret data in a variety of ways.ISTE Student Nets​ requires that students will collect and analyze data to identify solutions and/or make informed decisions. Excel gives students and teachers the opportunity to accomplish these tasks! Objectives include the following tasks/functions: *Find and Replace, *Concatenate, *Text to Columns, *Conditional Formats, *Basic Functions (Average, Sum, etc.), *Protecting sheets and workbooks, *Mail merge, *Data Forms, *Creating a chart, *Inserting Leading zeroes, *Taking data from Excel and create charts in PowerPoint. find out how to 'kick it up a notch' when using this valuable tool!

Description: ​Looking for a new idea for student presentation? Need an alternative to PowerPoint? Want a fun discussion starter? Come to this in-service and learn how to use a variety of apps and other free web-based presentation tools. Explore fun alternatives to traditional presentations in any subject area. Bring an existing lesson and leave with a presentation ready for classroom use. We will be exploring the Mix add-on for PowerPoint, Zaption, Nearpod, Tackk, as well as some Infographics websites! (If you have a favorite, we will take a few minutes to share!)
