Your Monthly Update
from North Scituate Public Library
November is National Novel Writing Month!
November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), that time of year where thousands of writers attempt to put down a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. The books created this month are TERRIBLE, but that's how first drafts should be! As always, we have lots of ways to celebrate.
On November 17, Miss Alyce is offering a teen craft. Learn to make your own accordion journal to write all your great novel ideas in.
We are also hosting weekly virtual writing parties. Every Monday between 5 and 7, you can head to bit.ly/SciWrite21 to join our Zoom meeting and write together. Come for the whole time, for a sprint at 6pm, or just stop to say hi. Feel free to leave your camera and mic off and lurk, or turn them on and say hi while you try to reach that word count.
