Building Resilience and Confidence

You are invited to the May Parent/Guardian Workshop

Please join CVUSD's BreakThrough Student Assistance Program and the Conejo Schools Foundation for "Building Resilience and Confidence" on Wednesday, May18th from 6:00-7:00 PM PST presented by Phyllis Fagell, LCPC. This FREE event will provide practical strategies on how to help your child be resilient and confident, manage social complexities, and address the added challenges that come with raising children through a pandemic.

About our presenter: Phyllis is a school counselor at Sheridan School in Washington, DC, a therapist who works with kids and families in private practice, and an author and journalist. She's the author of “Middle School Matters” and a frequent contributor to the Washington Post. Phyllis also writes for Psychology Today, CNN, Working Mother, U.S. News & World Report and Your Teen. Her work has been shared in outlets including The New York Times, The Atlantic, The New Yorker and NPR. Phyllis lives in Bethesda, MD with her husband and three children.
