Introduction to the Amendments
An Amendment is an official change, correction, or addition to a law or constitution. The constitution ties into the amendments because the founding father said that in order for the constitution to last it has to be changeable in order for our goverment to work. The Bill of Rights/ the amendments protect our rights as people.
Bill of Rights
The Bill of Rights is made up of the first ten amendments, and those amendments protect/ensure our rights as people.
The Rest of The Amedments
The Bill of Rights only cover the first ten amendments, the rest of the amendments cover things like you have to be 18 years old to vote, you have to be 21 years old to drink, abolished slavery and involuntary servitude.
The Constitution
The Founding Fathers of America wrote our current Constituition to help govern our states.
