A Message from Administration
There are just a couple of important items that we wanted to share now so that you had time to plan and prepare.
Tomorrow is the Deadline! Register for Bus Services for the next school year
Families Must Register by June 1 for 2023-2024 Bus Service
Per Board of Education Policy 5200 Student Transportation, families whose students are eligible for bus transportation are required to register through HCPSS Connect Synergy to receive bus service for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. This new registration process will take place annually to help the HCPSS Office of Student Transportation plan for more accurate student ridership and to make routes more efficient. Registration for 2023-2024 bus service is open now through June 1.
Please note, families who reside in non-transportation areas are not eligible for bus transportation and do not need to take any action. Find the new non-transportation areas for your school online. Additionally, students who receive transportation as part of their Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan do not need to register.
Families who need assistance with the registration process should reach out to their child’s school.
Bus routes for the 2023-2024 school year, along with specific school start times, will be finalized in August, prior to the start of school. More information is available online.
Attention 5th Grade Families
The end of the school year is fast approaching. Can you believe that we will have middle schoolers in just 5 weeks?!
In preparation for our 5th grade promotion ceremony, we need your help! We are putting together a slideshow of our 5th graders throughout the years and need photos!
Please email pictures of your 5th grader to Mrs. Ashley Holdridge at ashley_holdridge@hcpss.org. Pictures showing a range of ages would be greatly appreciated, but any pictures you are willing to share are perfect!
If you are able to share pictures, please do so by Wednesday, May 31st.
Again, please send pictures of your child(ren) throughout their years to ashley_holdridge@hcpss.org.
The 5th grade team greatly appreciates your help in making this year’s promotion ceremony a success!
