The ACS Beginning Teacher Roundup
for January 2019
ASHEVILLE CITY SCHOOLS
We believe in the #THEACSWAY: We are 1 District, 1 Vision, 1 Voice!
Happy New Year!
As educators, we all face bumps in the road and things do not always go as planned i.e. lesson plans, lessons, classroom management, parent conferences, discipline, field trips, professional development, observations, etc. The important part is that we view the bumps as opportunities for self-reflection that lead us to professional and personal growth.
I hope 2019 is off to a great start for you and your students. Remember to savor the successes and grow from the bumps in the road. Sometimes the road can be a little bumpy but we come out stronger and better.
Wishing you the best start to 2019!
