PTA News - Come Join AMS PTA

Make a difference today! Parents and family, show your student how much you support

him/her and this school! How can you do that? Here's three easy ways:

1. Join PTA--for as little as $10, you will help fund programs and events for the students, and make our voice bigger and louder for all students;

2. Volunteer--1 hour a year or 1 hour a day, whatever you have, you WILL make a difference; and,

3. Donate--$1, $50, or $100, EVERY cent goes to work for your student and this school! No amount is too small--and none is too big!

Whether you join PTA, volunteer your time, choose to donate money, or all three, make the commitment to your student and his/her success, and know that you made a difference!

Attention volunteers! Please remember that EVERY school year, you must complete your volunteer application with PISD. Please visit the PISD website here to complete that process. Don't be left out of school events and programs because you forgot!

Here's the link: http://www.pisd.edu/about.us/partners.volunteers/index.shtml.

Armstrong PTA has a committee dedicated to raising money to help continue our efforts to support the students and the school itself. Contact Katrina Tadeja at simplysublime@live.com to join our efforts or if you have any questions.

There are SO MANY painless, easy ways to help raise money for our school - here are a few:

Box Tops: Send your Box Tops in to school (Front Office or advisory teachers) and Armstrong earns money from each one.

Shoparoo: Is a mobile app (iPhone or Android) that turns pictures of your everyday grocery receipts into instant donations!

Amazon Smile: When shopping online at Amazon, please don't forget to go to www.smile.amazon.com and make sure you choose Armstrong Middle School, Plano TX as your charity!
