iReady Assessment Information for Families

Randolph Public Schools will administer the i-Ready Diagnostic Assessment for ELA and Math for grades 1 - 12. We are excited to use the program this year to better understand the students’ strengths and areas for growth. i-Ready is designed for students to get 50% of the questions right and 50% wrong. We are asking for your help at home to encourage students to stay engaged, but please do NOT help with the answers. The results of the diagnostic will help schools determine how to best support your child.

Please also check out the i-Ready Family Center at https://i-readycentral.com/familycenter/ for helpful resources and links.

We will be hosting i-Ready family informational meetings on

Thursday, October 29th at 10:00 - 10:45 AM and 10:00 Zoom Link

RMS School Site Council Meeting Agenda and Minutes

Big picture

Science is Fun!

RCMS 6th graders are enjoying all types of new discoveries in their science class. Wearing a mask and maintaining social distance have not dim the excitement of our students who are learning techniques about how to conduct a science experiment
Big picture

Math Comes Alive

Math class has never been more engaging. Students are learning the language of math as they learn abstract concepts and solve complex geometric problems. RCMS students get to breathe life into their math problems by using a variety of manipulatives.
Academic and Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Academic and Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Our school continues to establish a foundation for social emotional learning. This Social Studies class is learning (and wearing) the difference between a 2-dimensional map and a 3 dimensional globe, as they use the inflated beachball to illustrate. Learning geography can be fun, engaging, challenging and wearable.

W.I.N. Wednesday

WIN Wednesday is a remote school day for all students except for our in-person students. SELECTED students will be invited to "live" Zoom sessions for extra support and/or band and chorus. Students will be informed by their teachers We expect all students to log-in to their Google classes for their assignments for the day. Only students who have logged-in, completed their assignments and submitted their Google Attendance Form will receive credit for the day.

Power Outage

In the event of the inevitable power outage please make sure your child remains logged on and patiently waits to hear from us. Our Director of Facilities will contact the Town of Randolph to determine if the outage is for a few minutes or if it will be longer. We will communicate this to families as soon as we hear from Director of Facilities. When we are back up and running, we expect students to continue with their scheduled classes and assignments for the day.
