Period of Remediation & Summer School
Our Period of Remediation is coming to an end on June 9th. Overall, it has been a great success in that the vast majority of students have successfully fulfilled all learning goals for all classes. A HUGE shout out goes to all CHS teachers who have volunteered to serve as Learning Coaches during this time.
As a reminder, students who are unsuccessful in passing their classes within the period of remediation will also have the opportunity to earn credit within summer school. Summer school candidates will be made aware via phone on Wednesday, June 10th and Thursday, June 11th. We highly encourage all candidates to enroll in summer credit recovery in order to stay on track for graduation, and to avoid a more packed schedule in the fall.
Our first session of summer school, June 15-July 2nd, will be virtual. Click here to view the updated Summer School Information Packet. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Brook Lyford, Summer School Principal. brlyford@clintonwis.com
Counselor's Corner
Attention all seniors that took a Transcripted Credit class at CHS, or took any college course at any college:
If you are going to any college (technical college or any 4 year college/university), you will need to contact each individual college to send your college transcript to wherever you will be attending in the fall. BTC is requesting that you not ask for your final transcripts from them until June 30th so that they can get their transcripted credit courses into their systems. Please contact Mrs. Runkel if you have any questions!
Reminder to all WBL/YA students:
Your grades have always been "Pass/Fail" for these programs, so this is how your grades will show up on your report card and transcript even if you requested them to be a letter grade.
Internet Service
Per the Wisconsin Public Service Commission (PSC), if Internet service providers are shutting off service to families in need of internet they can call their ISP and let them know they were unable to pay their bill due to the COVID-19 circumstances and that they need their internet until June 30th in accordance with the Keeping Americans Connected pledge. Note: this only affects internet and not phone, video, or cable services. For questions, please contact Bryan Erskine, Director of Technology at brerskine@clintonwis.com.
