Welcome to the Prairie Point Panther Press!
Home and School President's Letter
October went by in a flash. We had our first Box Tops collection, our first annual Father/Son Game Night, Health & Wellness night and Halloween Bingo Night. Thank you those of you who helped with each of these events and to our families who participated.
Shout out our Appreciation committee and it’s many volunteers for giving the staff a Halloween treat day as well as dinner for parent/teacher conferences. Thank you all for being so generous.
We are trying a new location for Tuesday Night Dinners on the 14th, Five Guys. And first grade teachers will serve at Culver’s on the 28th.
We will need many of you to help with our Holiday Shop on December 16th. This is a great time for our students to shop “in secret” for little gifts. Please look over for information coming home in Thursday folders.
Speaking of Thursday folders, we are looking for help, specifically someone who could come in Thursday mornings for 1 ½ - 2 hours to help stuff papers and deliver folders to the classrooms. Please contact Terri Wright at terriandchris@live.com to learn more.
We hope to see you and the next Home & School meeting, Thursday, Dec. 7th at 7:00pm. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break!
Lisa Eloe

Reading Rewards for your Student(s)
Prairie Point students have the opportunity to earn 30 minutes of free jump time at Sky Zone in Aurora!
Students need to read 5 books on their own or with a parent. Then, they may record the book titles on the Sky Zone provided bookmark (sent home this week via your child's Thursday folder). Students should have their teacher and parent sign the spaces to validate the reading achievement. Once the bookmark is completely filled in, simply bring the bookmark to Sky Zone Aurora to receive one free 30 minute jump pass. Happy reading!
