November 15-19, 2021

Words of Wisdom

When times are good it's easy to express gratitude and count our blessings. They are abundantly clear! And as adults, we know that with the good often comes the not-so-good, that the ebb and flow of life is a natural occurrence. We understand that when we learn from challenges, we become better people.

This is an important lesson to impart to the young people in our lives: that overcoming misfortune can give them a deeper appreciation of their blessings. And what a blessing it is to draw upon our many life lessons so we can now help our children learn to draw upon their own.
