Big Nate from the Top! Funny per Ms. Brown
Nate Wright is eleven years old, four-and-a-half feet tall, and the all-time record holder for school detentions in school history. He's a self-described genius and sixth-grade Renaissance man. Students everywhere can relate to Big Nate's daily battle against overzealous teachers, backbreaking homework, wimpy cafeteria food, and all-around conventionality. This collection features cartoonist Lincoln Peirce's daily and Sunday comic strips packed with his vintage flair and insights into school humor.

Sweet Reads is starting APRIL 15th! Summer Reading is starting early this year!
STORIES SO GREAT, YOU’LL WANT SECONDS!
To better serve remote reading amid recent school closings, OverDrive has adjusted the dates for OverDrive’s Summer Read program. It will now run April 15 – July 31 with the theme Sora Sweet Reads. This annual program is designed for schools in the US and Canada to encourage students to keep reading all year long. We’re offering thirty free and simultaneous use juvenile and young adult ebooks (and select audiobooks). These titles will be available to participating schools and prominently displayed in Sora so it’s easy for students to find their next sweet read.
If your students read them all, they can always check out more books from their public library without ever leaving Sora. Great selection including audiobooks, graphic novels, and Audio Read-Alongs for our struggling readers. You can slow down the narration to help students, too!
