OnCourse Connect (Important!)

OnCourse is a secure web-based portal that allows parents, guardians, and students to view student information in real-time including student schedules, grades, attendance, and homework. Students and parents/guardians will each receive their own unique login and password.

Upon registration, parents/guardians will receive an email from OnCourse. The instructions in this email MUST be followed in order to grant the student access to OnCourse.

TMS Math Placement for New Students

Dr. Scott Brettell (HVRSD Director of STEM) will review the incoming student's report card for current math levels to see if a math placement test is required. Not all new students will need to take a math placement test. After Dr. Brettell reviews your report card, Ms. Kathy Prassas will reach out to the family to let them know if the new student needs to take a math placement test. If a placement test is necessary it will be administered on August 11th and August 30th (9am - 11am).

Students who need to take the math placement test will work with Ms. Prassas to register for a test date. These students will choose either August 11, 2022 or August 30, 2022.

Be Prepared for Your School Counselor Course Selection Meeting

Prior to meeting with your TMS Counselor, it is important to review the 2022-23 TMS Program of Studies, which includes a detailed listing of approved middle school courses and elective offerings.

Next, please complete your incoming grade level elective & world language google form. This step MUST be completed prior to meeting with your school counselor. Course selections will be finalized based on review of your transcript.

The case manager, in collaboration with the School Counselor, will create your schedule. For 504s, please request that your prior school send a copy along with the records and the School Counselor will work with you to ensure a smooth transition.
