There are a few fun news I wanted to share with all of you that could not wait until April 4th. Thank you for reading and participating with us in what is happening at Second Creek! There are dates and deadlines that are important, and they are all shared below.


We hope to see you at school this week for Parent-Teacher connections. If you have not arranged for a time yet, please call your classroom teacher or the office. We can help! Getting engaged in your child's school life is very important. When you come, make sure to stop by our Book Fair!

Together, we can work to advance your child's growth and happiness at school!

“Did you know that our PTO gives $10 per students for field trips every year. This makes it possible and affordable for our students to go do something fun every year. This year the district has asked them to provide transportation to those field trips as well. They are happy to provide this for this kids, but are also looking for ways to supplement some of these costs. They have have come up with a fun raffle idea that we hope you will all participate in.”

We are so thankful and excited to bring this fun event back to our school! Below are a few details:


  • Permission slips will be sent out sometime next week, and are due back March 17th. Please turn these in to the school office.
  • March 30th - 3:35pm-4:45pm - Try-Outs
  • April 20th - 3:35pm-4:45pm - Rehearsal
  • April 21st - 2:30pm-3:15pm - Talent Show (Students Only) 5:00pm - 6:00pm - Talent Show (Family and Friends)

Do you have an up and coming Kindergartener? It is never too early to mark your calendars for this event. Registration is open for kindergarten for the 23-24 school year. This is done online.
