OUR SCHOOL HERO-NURSE PROPES
Nurse Propes goes above and beyond for our students and staff. She is so knowledgeable in her field which has come in handy in many situations in helping our students. Nurse Propes takes such good care of all of our students in a very professional and timely manner. If there are no serious health issues with a student, she does her best to get the student back to class so he/she does not miss much instruction time. This has been a very trying time for our school nurses with the numerous calls, contact tracing, visits from parents and students with COVID questions, but Nurse Propes has remained very positive and never complains. She is very caring and very sensitive to each student situation that comes to her clinic.
We are very lucky to have her caring for us at BGMS!
ART CORNER
Both 7th and 8th graders were involved in completing projects that involved higher level problem solving and critical thinking while delivering high quality creativity. When I say I am BLOWN AWAY by their skill and ideas, I'm not kidding! Their work inspires me daily and I'm so blessed by their minds. I can't wait to show you all their work at the annual art show in May.
These are just a couple snap shots of work in process. The 7th graders move on to a different elective class when we return from Fall break, while the 8th graders will continue through the semester. I cannot wait to meet my new group of 7th graders so we can pick up and continue to create, learn, celebrate, and grow.

7/8 FOOTBALL TEAM FACES MT. VERNON AT HOME
Beech Grove looks to keep improving as they take on Indian Creek at home next Monday, 10/4 for their last game of the season.
GIRLS GOLF UPDATE
The girls' golf team fell to a tough Belzer team. Beech Grove was lead by a terrific 6 hole score of 36 by Dori Hines. Eva Kidwell shot a respectable 43. Ella Burd and Kyra Coker both shot a nice score of 44. This was the last match of the 2021-2022 school year, and the Lady Hornets did their best. What a fun year that we had, the record does not represent the amount of growth that was achieved by the team.
