Welcome back, SPH undergrads!

A message from the Student Public Health Association

Get involved with the SPHA!

Who are we? The Student Public Health Association (SPHA) is the official student group that strives to unify students across the School of Public Health. After a summer of reorganization, SPHA is new, improved, and ready for the year with plenty of opportunities to get involved. All SPH students are considered members. Yes, this means YOU, Public Health Majors, Environmental Health Majors, HIHIM Majors, Nutrition minors, & Global Health Minors!

What do we do?
We seek to unify students across the School of Public Health by organizing events and providing opportunities for personal and professional development. This means everything from social events like study breaks to educational events like workshops. We are also involved in making recommendations to administration.

Interested? There are many opportunities available for students, both undergraduate and graduate, to get engaged in the SPH community and to develop leadership skills.

To find out more, read on, contact us at spha@uw.edu, and be sure to attend the first SPHA meeting of the quarter on Oct. 3rd (details below).
