Literature Circles: How to Manage & Make Rigorous
Thursday, Jan. 28th, 2:45pm
Ashley Miller's 3rd Grade Room
This session is for anyone who is interested in implementing lit circles in their reading block. Lit circles can be tricky to manage, assess, and make rigorous, but this session can help show you how you can do all of these things. If you have already started lit circles and want fresh ideas, this session can help, too. We will look at how to best manage groups, keep students on task and accountable for their learning, make the work rigorous and purposeful, and ways to assess their learning. All of the resources discussed will be given to teachers who attend!
