Dr. Looney's Message

We are nearing the end of the school year, next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. I encourage you to recognize your child's teachers with a note of encouragement or a small thank-you gift. Our teachers work hard.

Also next week is testing. Our students will be testing in 7th and 8th grade Math, and in 8th grade Social Studies next week. Now is the time to make sure that OUR kids are resting each night, eating a good breakfast, and reviewing their notes ahead of each test.

Opportunities to volunteer abound in May. We have a 6th and 7th grade dance, hosted by our PTA and our 8th graders will have a semi-formal event. We need your help for decorating and chaperoning. Please see Ms. Carlson in the Parent Center for more information.

Have a great weekend. Thank you for everything you do.
