Notes from Split Rock Elementary

Message from Split Rock Elementary School Principal
The ROCK is rolling! I could not be more proud of both staff and students for how quickly we have acclimated ourselves within the building and classrooms. Our Wildcats are doing great work within their classrooms, and we have hit the ground running! Students did a tremendous job and gave us their best efforts throughout the week as participated in our Universal Screening measures. All students transported by bus were brought through bus safety drills, and all classrooms have started implementing the academic and social-emotional curriculums.

Open House is Next Week!
Don't forget to mark your calendar for the Split Rock Open House/ Curriculum Night on Thursday, September 22.
- UPK 5:30-6:00pm
- Grade K-2 6:00-6:30pm
- Grade 4 6:30-7:00pm
This night is dedicated to parents and guardians and should not be attended by students. If you need to schedule a separate meeting with your child's teacher, you may do so. Still, please note that this night is not intended to be a "parent-teacher conference" format but yet, informational and a great way for all to remain connected and informed about what is occurring both in the classroom and the building.
Our instructional Specialist Team will be available from 6:00-7:00 for parents to visit and get questions answered about our Multi-Tiered System of Support and intervention services.
The following booths will be set up in the cafeteria to visit at your convenience throughout the night.
- Girl Scouts Information/Signups
- PTO Spirit Wear
- ParentVue Information
To accommodate parking, there will be a shuttle run from the Slavic Baptist Church on Split Rock Road provided from 5:00 pm thru 7:30 pm. Please avoid parking on Split Rock Road.
