DEI Updates
The DEI team is sent out a google form (via Alice's Parent Smore) to collect important celebrations/traditions our Wood's families may celebrate at home. Our hope is many families submit pictures of celebrations/traditions which we can display on a school bulletin board. In this survey, there is also a link to include a song that parallels the celebration which could be played during morning arrival. Here's the survey link in case you want to participate OR share with parents in your own way. CELEBRATION FORM
SAVE THE DATE!
Wood's Multicultural Night will take place January 25th from 6-8:30. This is always a favorite event of the year. Come learn about other cultures, taste some delicious foods, and watch the pride & joy spilling from our students as we celebrate our wonderful diversity.
Quote to Consider
"We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color."
