or by emailing besattendance@flaglerschools.com
Parents will be notified by letter when a child has accumulated five (5) and ten (10) unexcused absences during a 90-calendar day period. After the 10th unexcused absence, we will schedule a meeting with the parent and the Student Success Team to discuss the truancy problem, compulsory attendance laws, review educational records, and teacher observations. After the meeting, the student and school staff may develop a behavioral contract. If the student continues to accumulate unexcused absences, the Student Success Team shall make a referral to the District Office for assistance and possible home visitation. The parent may be referred to the Court if compliance still needs to be achieved.
Texas Roadhouse
Texas Roadhouse has been a long-time community partner with Bunnell Elementary. They actively participate in our family nights throughout the year, and we partner with them for their Dine to Donate program. Participating in Dine to Donate is an excellent way for our community to give back to Bunnell Elementary while enjoying some great food. Our next Dine to Donate event is Saturday, January 21st, from 11 am - 4 pm. Stop in and enjoy a great lunch, and tell them you're there for Bunnell Elementary, and Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of your check to BES. If you are unable to make it next Saturday, we would love for you to join us at one of our other events on Tuesday, March 7th (3-8p), Saturday, April 15th (11a-4p), and Tuesday, July 18th (3-8p).
Texas Roadhouse is located at 1298 Palm Coast Parkway SW.
