NEWS AND UPDATES
BLOCK PARTY THIS WEEK
On Thursday, December 10th, we are hosting a block party to benefit the Pulsera Project from 3:30-5:00 before the basketball game vs. White Knoll Middle. We will be selling block party tickets at lunches everyday next week for $5. The block party will include games, music, snacks, and a photo booth with fun props! The snacks, drinks, and photo booth will be for purchase. If anyone is willing to donate snacks or drinks to our cause, please have your student bring these things to Mrs. Palen's room next week prior to Thursday. All proceeds will go to support the Pulsera Project, our 7th grade service project. Thank you in advance for your help!
We also have exciting news that any student who has purchased a ticket for the block party and who brings a canned good on Thursday will be able to attend the basketball game at 5:30 for no additional cost! This canned good will support the 8th Grade students at MGM who are "Taking a Stand" against hunger. Their HOPE 2015 drive supports the mission of Harvest Hope. Bring one canned item to your 1st-period teacher on Thursday (December 10th) and you will receive a ticket for free admission to the basketball game against White Knoll that afternoon. All cans must be dent-free and within the expiration date. Thank for your support!
We are so excited about the opportunity for fun and to benefit two great service projects! We hope your gators will join in the cause!
