Wamogo Regional High School
March 27, 2018
Message from the Principal
Dear Wamogo Families and Friends,
Please be reminded that the Safe and Sound Schools presentations will be next week on Monday and Tuesday. Monday, April 2 will be an early release for students at 12:15 p.m. The detailed schedule is listed below. Additionally, childcare and dinner (pizza and salad) will be provided for the parent presentation on Monday, April 2 at 5:30 p.m. Please RSVP here by Thursday, March 29 if you plan to attend dinner and/or require childcare services.
Please note that the Safe and Sound Schools program has no political affiliations. It is not connected to the March for Life or National Walkout movements. The Safe and Sound Schools program was planned earlier in the year and will focus on strengthening our school community. Please reinforce this point with your students so that they fully understand the importance of this program.
Additionally, we are fortunate to have Trooper Samantha McCord in attendance on Monday evening for the parent presentation. She will be facilitating our internet safety presentation later in the year. Social media can often be the source of mean spirited behavior, bullying, school threats, or other various inappropriate behaviors. Trooper McCord will help educate our school community around these various risks. She will be present on Monday evening to answer any questions regarding her presentation that will be in May 2018.
Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Sabin Loveland
Principal

Faculty and Staff Appreciation Lunch will be held Wednesday, May 2nd.
We will be accepting financial donations to more easily coordinate our lunch this year. Further updates will be forthcoming to identify how we can all easily show our appreciation for our outstanding faculty and staff members.
Please contact Toni Korner or Meja Churyk to volunteer or for more information.
The Pre-Prom Red Carpet Gala will be held Saturday, June 2nd.
This Pre-Prom tradition gives prom-goers and their families and friends a chance to gather together at a centralized and convenient location with a red carpet experience. Food and drink donations will be accepted for this event. This is a great opportunity for prom-goers, friends and families to mingle while getting those glamorous pictures in before the night really gets started. More information on time and donations to come.
Please contact Renee Farrell to volunteer or for more information.
Treasurer Still Needed!
Yes, we wish we didn't have to ask again either! We still need a treasurer to help deposit and write checks and to provide a monthly summary of the PTO checking account. The commitment should be less than 4 hours a month and your support will be invaluable. Won't you please consider helping out in this easy-to-fill yet highly valuable role? Please contact us at WAMOGOPTO@gmail.com for more information.
As always, you can reach us through our new e-mail address for questions, comments, to volunteer, or just to say hi at:
We look forward to hearing from all of you!
