Pretzel Orders due this FRIDAY, 9/30!
Cinnaminson Elementary Home and School Association (CEHASA) is sponsoring a weekly soft pretzel fundraiser.
With a one-time purchase of $5, students will receive a soft pretzel on scheduled Fridays during October/November. In-school Fridays are 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, and 11/4. Pretzels must be preordered and will be delivered to the students at the end of the school day.
This year CEHASA is offering parents the option to pre-pay pretzels for the entire school year. That total cost is $30.
Orders must be placed by September 30th to be included in the Oct/Nov sale.
Cash/check payments can be sent to school with the attached completed form. Checks should be made out to CEHASA. Exact change is required; refunds will not be given for over payments.
**Please be advised – CEHASA is not able to refund monies if your student is not in attendance on the day of delivery or in the instance of a school closure. We will make every effort to ensure students receive their purchased pretzels.**
Anyone interested in volunteering to help with pretzel distribution please email cehasa@cinnaminson.com.
There will be paper copies sent home on Monday or you can access the form by clicking the button below. Thank you so much for your support!

Student Technology Use
As we proceed into our third week of school, there are a few important reminders about students and their use of technology.
- CHROMEBOOKS: All students at Rush School have been issued a personal Chromebook. It is used daily in the classrooms for a variety of activities, assignments, and/or assessments. Therefore, it is CRITICAL that the Chromebook comes to school, fully charged, each day. We have a limited amount of loaner devices but have been depleted of those every day, leaving students without a device when the library runs out. We suggest leaving the charger at home in a common, consistent place where the student can plug it in each evening.
- If a student consistently comes to school without their device, administration will contact the student's parents/guardians to alert them of the issue and create a plan for future success in the task.
- CELL PHONE USE: While some students in grades 3 through 5 may have cell phones and/or smart watches, it is the school's policy that they may not be used at all during the school day, without express permission from a staff member. For bussed students, this means from the time they board the bus to the time they exit it at the end of the day. This policy also stands for smartwatches, which may only be used to check the time.
- Any student who is found using their cellphone or smartwatch during the school day, without permission, will have said device confiscated for the remainder of the day and his or her parents/ guardians will be called to pick up the device from the main office. If a student is found to have taken pictures or a recording of another student, during the school day, the student will receive a conduct report and further consequences.
