ACT Aspire Testing: April 5th

On Tuesday April 5th, all Freshman and Sophomores will be engaging in the ACT Aspire Summative Assessment. The ACT Aspire Summative Assessment measures what students have learned in the areas of English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing. This measure is aligned to the ACT college readiness benchmarks and common core standards; the scores on this assessment predict how a student will perform on the ACT when they reach 11th grade.

On Tuesday April 5th, all Franklin High School Freshmen and Sophomores will need to report to Franklin High School for this testing. A light breakfast will be served in the cafeteria from 7:00 a.m. to 7:20 a.m., prior to testing. Students will also have a lunch break and snacks will be provided during testing breaks. Junior and Senior students will complete classwork at home through asynchronous virtual instruction.

All Freshman and Sophomores are expected to report to their testing rooms by 7:20 a.m. During testing, students will be unable to access cell phones, electronic devices and study materials. Freshman and Sophomores are expected to bring their chromebooks, fully charged, as well as their charging devices. The Aspire Summative assessment will be administered through an online platform available on all district devices.

Testing will be completed by 2:00 p.m., school transportation will be provided. Please reach out if there are any questions. Thank you for your support.
