VCSA Weekly Update
April 13, 2017
Dear VCSA Families,
Holy Week is the epitome of the Catholic Church Liturgical Year. The week begins with Palm Sunday as the people welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem as a “king” by waving palm branches. The week ends with the people turning against Jesus, demanding that He be put to death, and then Jesus rises to new life on Easter Sunday.
Jesus is celebrated, mourned, denied, betrayed, mocked, and ridiculed — all in one week. As we participate in the Holy Week Liturgies, let us imagine that we are some of His disciples who saw their Master Teacher treated in such contrasting ways.
On behalf of the VCSA Faculty & Staff, I wish you and your family a Happy Easter! Enjoy the Easter break, and we will resume classes on Monday, April 24th.
Yours in Christ,
Stephanie Margetts
