Social Studies
Students were learning about the leaders that we have in our city, state, and country. We have learned that, there are leaders that lead different communities, our leaders have different jobs depending on who they lead. And leaders help make laws, enforce laws, and make their communities a better place.
Students created a poster of 6 responsibilities about our Mayor, Scooter Gierisch.
Math
Science
This week in Science, we have been reviewing states of matter and exploring the physical properties of each. Students have loved doing different activities to build on their knowledge of solids, liquids and gases.
Additionally, we compared the differences between a physical change and a chemical change by having a "pancake lab." The students were able to connect our everyday lives to Science by watching a liquid turning into a solid by means of a chemical change.
