Red, Orange, Yellow and GREEN Zone students on Campus
As a reminder for all the parents that have transitioned students to campus, it is imperative that we all do our part and are consistent. In the event we have concerns with inconsistencies, you may be asked to return to remote learning and your spot will be offered to a student on the waiting list. Make sure we are following the expectations discussed at our parent meeting.
- Complete ESWIPE prior to arriving at the drop-off.
- Students need to follow dress-code while on campus.
- Ensure devices are charged daily.
- Ensure they are arriving on time (7:15-7:45)
- Ensure students are present Monday through Friday unless there is an ESWIPE indicator OR you have contacted the campus to inform us of the reason for the students absence. Three absences in a 9 weeks period is a concern).
- Always monitor your child’s and families health. If there is a concern with anyone in the household OR they have encountered anyone that is a potential risk, read the ESWIPE indicators and select any that may apply.
- Ensure that your child is wearing an appropriate, clean mask that fits snuggly around their nose and mouth.
We are currently in the GREEN ZONE
We will all continue to do our part to keep our community safe.

A Message from Mrs. Aguirre for ALL GT Students.
We are excited to announce that all GT students will be participating in a STEAM Challenge entitled The Cardboard Challenge! In this challenge students will learn by manipulating, creating, and pondering a series of labs/modules inspired by one of our most ancient technologies: paper! It is a design challenge based on the amazing story of Caine's Arcade. Students will tackle a brand-new design challenge that will require some serious imagination and problem solving! We'll light a fire of innovation and creative thinking in this epic maker-space laboratory. The challenges can be done live or can be completed after the event kickoff and done asynchronously at your own pace. The STEAM challenges are designed to be flexible.
If you are a member of the GT TEAMS group. Please go to the TEAMS to find more information. Reach out to Mrs. Aguirre, Campus Librarian and GT coordinator for more information.

FITNESS GRAM FOR ALL 3rd , 4th and 5th grade Rattlers
Every year All 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students take parent in the physical assessment called the Fitness Gram. FitnessGram by The Cooper Institute has set the standard of youth fitness measurement and data collection. Our research gives decision-makers at all levels the data needed to improve fitness and fight childhood obesity. Together with teachers, school administrators, legislators, business partners, and healthcare professionals, we can make sure that the students of today grow up to be the healthy workers of tomorrow. We want every child to build healthy habits today so they can live well into the future.
See the link below for more information.
We will begin assessing all students on campus. If your child is receiving remote learning, they will be given the option to take part in the fitness gram at home or come to campus to be assessed. This assessment is optional for all students, but we understand the importance of collecting this data. For more information you can email one of our PE coaches. If you would like your child to participate in the fitness gram, fill out the form below. All students that participate will receive a Rattler Water Bottle.
