School Supply Lists for 2019-2020

Doing your own shopping for school supplies? You can find the supply list for each grade level here.

Student Obligations

Progress reports will be held for students who have financial obligations for lost text or library books or negative balances in the cafeteria. Some parents also need to update residency paperwork. Parents are being notified and Alma/Report Card access will be restricted if you or your child have an obligation. Please take care of these obligations by Wednesday, June 12.

Nurse's Information

Please remember to pick up all medications, inhalers, and Epi Pens from the nurse’s office by June 14th. All medications that are not picked up at that time will be discarded on June 17th. A new supply of medication must be provided in the fall, along with a new parent medication consent form and doctor’s order.

End of Year Residency Changes

In order to ensure that you receive your 19/20 school year information, please update the main office with any changes in residency status or address. Contact the office or Administration if you need a Change of Address Form and/or if you have questions regarding what is accepted as proof of new address. Note: ALL change of address paperwork requires 2 proofs of residence.

Best Wishes

We send best wishes to some of our staff members who are moving on to new opportunities next year and will not be at GVE. Please join me in thanking these individuals for the contributions they have made to our school. Mrs. Ferry, Dr. Shultz, Mrs. Briestansky, Ms. McGarry, and Mrs. Antonelli have contributed so many things to our school and will be missed. Also, Mrs. Valerio will be on a sabbatical. We will miss her while she is out as well.

Committee Chairs Needed for 2019-2020 School Year

We have a number of Committee Chairs whose children are moving on this year, and thus a number of vacancies to fill. This is a great way to meet other parents and get involved, with opportunities to give as much or as little time as you desire/can handle!

Our goal is to be as inclusive as possible and we proactively work with schedules so that even parents who work full-time can be a part of this dynamic team. Please consider this your invitation to join us!

If you are interested or just want to find out more, please contact Stephanie Carmichael: stephanie.carmichael@wolterskluwer.com. We can’t wait to welcome you!
