Vaccine Clinic a Success!
Wash U Pauses COVID Testing Due to Staff Shortages
As has been reported, local and national COVID-19 cases have increased dramatically since last month. The increased demand for testing has led the project with Washington University to be put on hold for the next two weeks. WUSTL has provided free COVID testing weekly at North County school districts including the Friday testing at the Normandy Early Learning Center.
Testing is available by appointment with the St. Louis County Department of Health locations on Hanley Road and Jennings Station Road. The county has recently opened a new testing site at the North County Recreation Complex, 2577 Redman Avenue. To set an appointment, visit www.reviveSTL.com.
Walk-up testing and vaccines are available daily at the Dellwood Recreation Center (see graphic at right).
St. Louis County COVID-19 Vaccine Incentive Program
With children ages 5-11 now eligible to get vaccinated, they are also eligible for the DPH’s vaccine incentive program. St. Louis County parents or guardians will receive gift cards if their children 5 and older get vaccinated.
To qualify for this incentive, individuals must:
- Live in St. Louis County
- Be 5 years of age or older
- Get fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at a Department of Public Health (DPH) vaccination event.
Families with multiple children are eligible to receive gift cards for each child who is fully vaccinated.
For a complete list of DPH vaccination events visit ReviveSTL.com.
