MYBLUEPRINT FOR PARENTS
Parents of our intermediate students may have seen their children using MyBlueprint to explore their options for highschool. This seemed like a good opportunity to share a little more about the other tools MyBlueprint has for students and for parents.
What is MyBlueprint?
MyBlueprint is an online tool for Education and Career/Life Planning. All students in grade 7-12 have a personal account that they can use whenever they need it. MyBlueprint will be available throughout their time at Limestone and even after graduation. This Education Planner lets students create an engaging and interactive Education Plan. They can build customized high school course plans, instantly identify the post-secondary options that are available to them and explore valuable information about apprenticeships, college programs, university programs and workplace opportunities across Canada! At Limestone we even have a special section for students in our many Specialist High Skills Majors programs.
Accounts for Parents
Students are more likely to be motivated, to earn higher grades, to have better behavior and social skills, and to continue their education to a higher level when their parents are actively engaged in supporting their success at school. That is why we have a myBlueprint account specifically for you! With a parent account you will have access to all of the same tools and resources as your children to help you support their exploration and planning. By linking to your child’s account you will also be able to see their progress as they work towards graduation including their marks, compulsory credits and other graduation requirements. You will also be able to see the results of their personal surveys and explorations.
You can find more information about parent accounts and more from the myBlueprint Blog using the following link: https://myblueprint.ca/parental-advisory-how-to-get-involved/
