Branch Byte: DoveWhisper
I shared this site with some last year, but I wanted to throw it out there again. A technology integration specialist out in Frisco created this hub of leveled and neatly organized websites that can help to support your curriculum.
This could be used:
- as part of stations
- something to do during your extra computer time for practice
- for your fast finishers
- for tutoring
- a resource to share with parents who want something more to do at home
Check it out when you get a chance!
Let's Frame Those Lessons!
As we walk through to see the great things happening around the building, we will be looking for those lesson frames.
Remember, framing a lesson encompasses two parts:
- the daily learning objective
- the closing question, product or task
You can find examples in your Fundamental 5 book on pages 28-29.
We. Have. Been. Challenged.
Wally Watkins does the ALS challenge!
So, as you can see above, Wally Watkins has challenged us to a group ALS #IceBucketChallenge. After a quick Facebook poll, I learned that the dinos are not afraid. If you would like to accept the group challenge and participate in dumping water on your head as a group, we will end our WTG Wednesday staff meeting next week early to record our accepted challenge. Which campus should we in turn nominate?
BYOB - Bring your own bucket. ;)
PLC & DRIVE Update
