Principal's Message: Week of April 22
We completed our first week of CAASPP testing. We still have many students absent or arriving late. Please ensure students arrive on time and are at school. Thank you for the snack donations!
CAASPP State Assessments
- Testing starts April17th for our 3rd-6th graders!
- Please ensure your child gets to school ON TIME! If they are late, they may have to wait in the office and then test later. It's best if students test with their class.
- Thank you parents for donating snacks. Teachers will reach out if more snacks are needed.
- Thank you PTO for donating brain drops for days of testing.
- The main way parents can help students during this time is to ENCOURAGE and pump up your child to do their best.
- Our students are READY, our students CAN DO IT, and our students will ROCK THE TEST!!!
PTO News
- Thank you for supporting the last Dine Out at Black Bear Diner. We will have some food vendors for Open House. The voting for PTO Board members will be coming soon.
Character Trait
- The character trait for April is Confidence: Believe that you will succeed.
- The cut off date for AR tests is May 10th.
- Keep encouraging your child to read and complete quizzes to improve/grow comprehension skills.
- Even if your child has received a bronze, silver, or gold medal for AR, have them keep reading.
- We are looking for the top point earners by grade level and for the whole school.
3rd Trimester Awards Assemblies
