About the Italian Renaissance
The Italian Renaissance was the early creation of the general European Renaissance, a period of great cultural change and achievement that began in Tuscany, Italy during the 14th century and lasted until the 16th century, marking the transition between Medieval and early modern Europe. The artist
Leonardo da Vinci was known for his Mona Lisa, and last super paintings, he was also a scientist, engineer, ect. Because of this di Vinci changed the course of art for the rest of history, him and his knowledge of mathematic changed how he made art work. Michelangelo was also a major artist famous for his David and the creation of Adam pieces, he also was a sculpture and a engineer. Michelangelo was a prolific architect who designed many civic and religious buildings. He designed Italy's most famous library, the Laurentian Library, in 1525. Among his most important achievements is the design of the massive, self-supporting dome of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

My favorite pieces of art work
the Mona Lisa
The Mona Lisa is my favorite painting during the Italian Renaissance because of how detailed she is she looks very real alistic. I find it fascinating how human the painting looks considering it was made in 14th century.
The St. Peter's basilica
I love the detail that Michelangelo put into this great build, I see it as a giant master piece. I am amazed that someone could imagine making something that magnificent.
