Grab a fortune cookie with study and stress tips inside to help you during Finals Week! Some of these tips include:
- For restful sleep, go to bed and wake up at the same time every day
- For restful sleep, avoid large meals right before bedtime
- To help manage your stress, talk to a psychologist from the UW Bothell Counseling Center about how you’re feeling
- To help manage your stress, engage in positive behaviors to channel your feelings, like going for a walk
- De-stress by trying out some relaxation breathing techniques, ie. Inhale for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds
- Take five minute breaks every so often while studying by stretching or eating a light snack
- Try to get the recommended amount of sleep of 7-8 hours (for adults) each night
