4th Grade Bread Donations

King Arthur Flour gave our 4th graders a lesson in bread making on Wednesday...and also provided the ingredients and directions to bake two delicious loaves of bread. Students were challenged to baked their own bread at home...keeping one loaf to enjoy and donating the other. This morning, we collected over 100 beautiful loaves of bread and were able to bless Wesley Mission Center in Mansfield with the bread. The mission center will provide this bread to families in our community who need assistance. THANK YOU 4TH GRADE, SHARON DRESSEL (librarian), KING ARTHUR FLOUR AND PARENTS FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN!

Save the Date: Media Madness

Save the date: WBE PTA will be hosting the Texas PTA Program MEDIA MADNESS on Monday, November 6th at 6:00pm at WBE. "Television, i-Pods, i-Pads, laptops and smart-phones…Today’s kids are exposed to an average of seven hours of “screen-time” each and every day, and the impact of those media messages can shape many of their perceptions and actions. Media Madness provides parents and caregivers the tools to successfully manage their children’s “screen time”, effectively monitor media messages and content, and realistically modify your approach as children grow and technology advances."

Put it on your calendar now, you won't want to miss this!!!

More info will come as it gets closer.
